For the operation of CNC milling machines, the radial runout of cutting tools is a significant issue. Therefore, once a radial runout of cutting tools is encountered, it must be dealt with immediately. 1. The method of reducing radial runout of cutting tools during machining is mainly due to the increased radial cutting force that exacerbates radial runout. So, reducing radial cutting force is an important principle for reducing radial runout. Use sharp cutting tools with larger tool rake angles to make them sharper and reduce cutting forces.
2. Why does the radial dimension of the CNC lathe always change? Answer: Axial is along the axial direction, while radial is in the cross-sectional direction. Mark a gauge inside the tapered hole, use the bearing as a reference, rotate the shaft, and measure the radial runout of the tapered hole. Bearing preload refers to the amount of axial or radial load pre applied to ensure the normal operation of the bearing, also known as preload. The main purpose of pre tightening high-speed precision spindle bearings is to improve the rotational accuracy of the bearings, avoid sliding of rolling elements at high speeds, increase bearing rigidity, reduce axial and radial runout of the support, increase bearing damping, reduce noise, and improve bearing performance.
3. Mark a gauge inside the tapered hole, use the bearing as a reference, rotate the shaft, and measure the radial runout of the tapered hole.
